Money Alive is committed to keeping your data secure. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorised access and use.

While our core platform stores it’s data inside the European Economic Area (‘EEA’) we do work with a select few third parties that operate outside of this. These providers assist us with data protection, error/fault recording, customer analytics and engagement.

In all cases, they are equally committed to providing adequate levels of protection. We check and enforce this by requiring them to be part of the EU-US PrivacyShield Scheme and have data processing agreements in place with us obliging them to protect your information. In all cases, we shall ensure that any transfer of your information is compliant with data protection law.

We have two types of third-party processors that operate outside of the EEA.

Security and system monitoring:

  • Cloudflare - Provides Enterprise level WAF (web application firewall) services as well as DDoS protection. Cloudflare will have access to user IP address and details all page-views. They will not have access to data such as names or contact information.

Online support

  • Intercom - One of the worlds leading support platforms, chosen for their commitment to security and data protection. Intercom allows us to provide a full-service help desk with articles, email and live chat support.

Intercom for Money Alive administrators

To provide this service - Intercom will have access to names and contact information available inside the Money Alive Admin systems users (administrators).

Intercom for clients (viewers)

Intercom will only have access to client data in the event they pro-actively seek our support via help.moneyalive.co.uk, [email protected] or using one of our chatbots, for example on our corporate site. Intercom will store all information the clients choose to disclose to us, such as their name, email address and the nature of their support query.
